Occupational Therapy Services:
Motivate Children's Therapy offers in-home and community-based pediatric occupational therapy, bringing therapy directly to the environments where children feel most comfortable and engaged. By meeting children in their natural environments, we can address real-world challenges and work toward meaningful goals that integrate seamlessly into daily life. This also encourages greater involvement from parents and caregivers, fostering collaboration and ensuring strategies can be implemented consistently. Our goal is to create a supportive and personalized therapy experience that empowers growth in the spaces where they live, learn, and play.
At Motivate Children's Therapy, all evaluations and treatment sessions are conducted in the comfort of your child's home, school, or daycare within Oakland and Wayne Counties. We operate on a private pay basis, accepting all major credit and debit cards, checks, as well as HSA and FSA cards. Payment is required at the time of service.
Our Therapy Process:
Discuss concerns and complete a screening to determine the needs for an evaluation.
Comprehensive evaluation of your child's skills & abilities.

Providing strategies and tools to support your child's development and progress towards their goals.
Individual OT Services – Evaluation and Treatment
We offer in-home and community-based OT services to address a variety of developmental goals. The process begins with a consultation, followed by a thorough evaluation that includes assessments, observations, and caregiver input to develop personalized goals. Afterward, we provide a detailed report and recommendations. If therapy is needed, we offer 1:1 sessions, typically once a week for 45-60 minutes, with the frequency and duration tailored to your child’s needs and your family’s schedule.
Parent Coaching
In addition to integrating parent education into therapy, we offer virtual parent coaching sessions. These sessions are designed to address your specific questions and concerns, providing strategies to support your child’s progress at home. Parent coaching can be a stand-alone service or combined with individual OT sessions for a comprehensive approach.
